On a late fall day a group met to stack, protect and secure the many piles of sawed lumber that are drying on the Museum grounds. The weather prediction of rain/snow did not turn out to be accurate and we were greeted with a sunny 40 degree plus day. Scrap pieces were also picked up and delivered to the steam engine area for use as fuel.

Grant Thessier provided 18 long sheets of nice used roofing for the job and with some salvaged from the collections building project we were able to cover most of the lumber. The work crew consisted of John Bartholomew, Gary Bush, John Castle, Reggie Chester, Wayne Day, Gary Hargrave, Jim McGraw, Bill Mousaw, Jim Locy, and Rudy Sinkeldam.
