The early arrivals set out railroad ties to accept the different lengths of lumber. Hasty storage, inside the barn after the Spring Exihibition, had not promoted the best drying conditions. All lumber had to be swept of sawdust and piled outside. The lumber will eventually be used in Museum projects.

As the number of workers increased, so did the quantity of lumber moved until all of it was outside. Several members indicated they would keep a watchful eye for any used roofing metal to eventually cover the piles. A good day's work!

Members continued on the window restoration also and later in the day moved inside the barn to remove some telephone size poles up in the rafters that were hindering construction in that part of the barn. A little general pick up and cleaning closed out the day.
